implementation and the best practice in the several countries
involved.
7. Harmonisation regarding of
vessel types(Austria, all).
During the elaboration of the
specifications of the Unique Hull Database it was noticed that two vessel
type code sets are in use. The objective of this agenda topic is to
determine the requirements for harmonising the vessel types of UN Rec 28
("RIS types") with the types out of Directive 2006/87/EC ("Certification
Types"). Based on the requirements of the European fairway authorities for
harmonising the vessel types a consolidated proposal could be drafted.
Draft proposal for harmonisation is documented in CR 10. (Reference
agenda point 9.3.b)
